Yeah i'm a believer of you get what you pay for. Except some stuff for example cat fish pole's and reels all all pretty well the same. But I'll probably just order the damplifier.

First of all, Damp = Dynamat Extreme as far as quality is concerned. I would still recommend the Damp because ANT is a friend of mine.

It will be you get what you pay for and deadening should be one of the first modifications to any vehicle regardless of the extent of money into the sound.

40sq ft should just be enough for the two front doors. Doors need to be insulated against the skin and the outer panel. And not just splotch here and a splotch there but instead the entire inside and entire outside.

So your saying i need to cover the door itself and the pastic trim that goes ovr the door as well? 40 sq feet only covers the front two doors? Thats a lot of square feet per door?

Well, I do agree with covering the plastic as well. (I prefer to resin the entire rear of the plastic then coat with a deadener) But I was more talking about the rear of the metal on the outside of the door. Then do the metal underneath the plastic. And top with a Overkill style product.

So basically you're saying to take the door panel off and remove the speaker and reach behind there and put the deadener inside the door around where the window rolls down into? Do you know about how many square feet a regular cab F150 would take? I plan on doing the floor, back wall, main doors and the smaller swing out doors.
