Subwoofers in the Bed?

Hey all!

I am trying to decide on a new system for my truck. Tell me what you think: 2 15" Kicker L7's in the bed. How would this sound?

Thanks,
Chris

it would be loud, and it would sound like kickers...ill let you decide if thats good or bad

plus you would have to port it into the cab which means you get to cut a big fawking hole in your three year old truck

If you EVER think you will be selling your truck to someone else, I would consider not doing this. It could shy away buyers.

I don't know about in the bed, but IT would sound much better in the cab or in the rear seats in your case.

sounds like it would be pretty uncomfortable to sleep with, what with all the corners on the box and wires everywhere. But, to each his own.

Sorry, i couldn't resist.

If you want a lot of bass, take out the back seat and put 2 13.5" W7s back there...you can always put the seat back in if you need to and there won't be a hole in your bed and your back wall. Unless you just have no budget, I wouldn't do the bed.
