ha funny story, when me and my girlfriend were waiting for the people at radioactive to finish up the install we just heard some really loud bass while we were inside their store and she was like that's your truck doin that and at first i didn't believe her and then low and behold here comes my truck up to the front of the store.

and the reason that i went with kicker stuff was it was cost friendly so hey if it blows i can just get another one. and plus i got the cvrs for $100 on ebay.

Do you mind telling me how much you paid for it all? if not you can tell me here or in a PM. Thanks

Sure I don't mind. The box was like 2somethin I believe, the amp was about 280, seat lift was 170, subs were about 100 off ebay, and the install was 200, so in total it was about a grand.

i disagree with your last sentence there Hokie. i think that a system can get loud and still sound good even while makin the concrete pound.

you can definitely hear it and feel it from the outside, and i can hear it from inside my house and with the right songs you can feel it too. when i turn it up i can set my phone on the console and it will vibrate off. it also vibrates the hell out of the back seat which i've been told by the ladies that they really like the feeling, haha.

I always thought that the reason for a sub (or two) was to make the music sound more fuller and better at louder volumes. When I hear subs just shaking a car apart I just shake my head and think they are tool's. It's either a car from the hood that's doing it or some white wanna b. Also, I don't like hearing that hood rat/crap music shaking my car at a stoplight, but to each their own.

It's all in personal preference. I don't want it to annoy people, but I want it to where if I decide I want people to know, I can make it happen.

True, I just really like bass! I just know a lot of people(white southern boys) with big *** Tahoe's and trucks, we just love bass.
