I think these will work well for my front stage midbass. I am going to go with a 2 way active setup. Now I just need to find some tweeters to compliment. Other than that I am looking for a new h/u too. Its finally time to upgrade from the ddx6019 even though its been good to me. I will probably upgrade to the dnx9120 (?) hell I don't know the numbers i've been out of the hu game forever. If anyone can recommend me a good double din witha great ipod interface, nav, and bluetooth. I think i'll stick with kenwood since they use garmin nav. I wish I had money so I could upgrade it all right now but cant. I just found those seas last night and I couldn't pass up the deal!

Those mids are nice, but being they are 8" you will want a tweeter that can play decently low but still not roll off way up high. I'd look hard at the Peerless HDS. If you can stand the large format, they are pretty much unbeatable for the price.
Also keep in mind that the Seas drivers really need sealed enclosures, so you will need to really seal up that door well to get great performance. They are not designed for IB use.

A dremel and some treated MDF baffles is all you need to make them fit...
Really, I haven't gotten to get a good look at the space that we have behind our gills yet. I guess i'll take your word for it. Does anyone have pics of 8's installed in our doors?
I would definitely put some 8's in the doors and then buy prefab q-logic kick panels and mound my components in there and seal the ***** out of the doors!

I'm going to make a fiber glass mold to put them in and paint it to mat h the rest of my interior. And the best part is I can cut up that door all I want to fit it in there and all you'll see is the finished nice product. Msall can you find me a link for those tweets please sir I'm on the road and don't have time to look it up. I was thinking of going with a 3 way but I just can't justify it. Well not this time around anyways. But I'm thinking the 8's in the door, tweets, more mat and great stuff, bed cut, 2 more saz1500's so I'll have three, another optima, probably a bat800, re wire everything, bigger alt., then for the substage 3 15 jbl gti's sealed. Should be pretty nice when completed.
