Would this be pushing it? What would you do

My Infinity sub just went in (took a dump) my Q-logic custom enclosure. I want to purchase the JL 10W3v3-2 (2 Ohm) sub and add it to my enclosure. Here's my issue. The box max depth is 5.8125" (5 13/16) and the sub max depth is 5.875" (5 7/8) which means the speaker will need to be propped 1/10th of an inch will really isn't that much at all. If this was you would you do it? I've heard a lot of good things about JL and I want to add this sub but only if its going to sound good. I do have rubber like material that came with the box that I can use to place under the sub edge to prop it and its about 1/10th. HELP!

My Infiniy sub is still under warranty (bought if from Crutchfield) but they dont make the sub any longer and what there willing to replace it with has less rms than what I have now but they may be willing to take a little something off the JL for me.

I say go for it. I think it should work out just fine. But if not, sell your Q-logic box and pick up a fox box.
It will fit 10w3's.

You would def. need to upgrade your amp though.
