So true. Rap sucks. Hiphop...totally different story. There are some really good underground hiphop groups out there whose lyrics aint all about thug life. The only "mainstream" artist from those genres that I really kinda like is Kanye West.

Give me some good ole country music any day. REAL music with REAL bass, not something that was made by a computer.
I actually like Nickelback's new album. It's been in my deck for about a week now.

Kanye huh? You like Gay Fish? You must like Fish****s.

I like country too. Whats great about country music is that the majority of it is well recorded, unlike a lot of the compressed crap you get nowadays. On a high quality sound system, poor recordings sound like absolute garbage but a high quality recording sounds fantastic.

If you're into the whole heavy/extreme/death/tech metal thing;
(listed below are albums)
The Black Dahlia Murder - Nocturnal & Miasma [both have crazy kick drums]
Between The Buried and Me - Colors
All That Remains - The Fall Of Ideals
As Blood Runs Black - Allegiance [especially the song 'My Fears Have Become Phobias']
Pantera - anything, Vinnie's kick is HUGE!

For some punk/hardcore type stuff;
Rise Against - Sufferer and The Witness
No Trigger - Canyoneer
Thrice - Illusion Of Safety
Pennywise - About Time
NoFx - Punk In Drublic

I don't listen to much of anything else when I'm in the truck.

But if you got a really clean sounding system and got some really nice highs, check out;
Andy McKee - Art Of Motion
Antoine Dufour - Existence
It's progressive acoustic. No drums, no bass, no vocals. Occasionally another guitar or violin. Amazing music and sounds amazing when listened to on the right system.

Lmao thats awesome. I love southpark. But yeah, Kanye is pretty good, especially the CD Graduation. His best one I think. We had the Rockford Fosgate Demo car at work right around the time it came out. The entire rear seat and half of the cargo area was a box for 6 power series 15's. Damn thing was loud. We put on stronger and the roof would flex up down about half an inch. That song pounds.

Yall need to shut the hell up and listen to what you want to listen to, and let others listen to what they want to listen to. I hate people that dis one kind of music, but get mad when someone else disses their kind of music. And it's ALL 'real music' to who ever thinks it's real music. How did this thread become a debate on what music is good and whats not? He just asked for some songs that hit hard. List them and move on.

let me rephrase my post.... what i meant by real music is someone using an instrument to make songs, not a computer beat...dont get me wrong, i play the snot out of rap, i enjoy all music. i dont care for country. i was raised on rock and rap. i wasnt bashing his tread,

Honestly last summer i spent about 2 grand in my system and I'm thinkin of taking it out. It sounds absolutely AMAZING inside the cab but as soon as you step outside the cab with all the doors shut it rattles everything and sounds like a POS. I loved my little 10in single sub i use to have although it never was that loud. Now with 2 12in shallow mounts and a 800 watt amp, its pretty loud in the cab but outside it all you hear is rattling. I love it but i hate pulling up to someone and you hear rattle from their system so im constently turning it down at stop lights..
