Pre-Fab Underseat box review

So i recently purchased a under the rear seat pre-fab box off ebay..(no i didnt get a supercrew box or highly marked up price box.) I paid about 100 bucks shipped. The box houses two 10's and its a down-firing. I outfitted it with 2 of the 10 inch kicker shallow mount subs, compVT series, which I had still in box laying around in the basement. powering all of this is a 2channel pioneer 1200 watt amp. the box came in the mail fed-ex at a surprisingly quick time period. about 4 days. It was packaged very well and there was no damage. Once I took it out of the package, I took out the round speaker terminal hook-ups and added some sealant and hooked everything up. the fit is VERY good under the back seat. It sticks out less than a inch. as for sound, for those of you who this is your first dual sub setup in our trucks, 04+...you will probably be amazed. but as some of you know, I am coming from a ported box tuned with a kicker 10" L7. that took up 2 rear seat spots and that was defiantly louder and deeper. dont get me wrong, the dual setup is still loud..it will shake some ***** up pretty good..but its not going to hit those deep lows you get in a lot of songs and if I had to compare it to anything, its like mids on super crack. haha. So if you are looking for your first setup, I recommend them but if your coming from ANY type of ported box or size subs that do not go under the seat, I say stick with them until you can find something else out there better. I didnt include any pics because I think we all know what an under seat box looks like.

the box cost 100 shipped, the amp and subs I had already but I think I paid 150 for the amp and maby 80 a piece for the subs. ebay can be your best friend or your worst enemy if used improperly haha.

the box is 3/4 mdf and I re-sealed all the edges (just in case). Im getting 300watts rms at the setup I have. (ballpark figure) this was just a test setup. Im leaning more towards doing a center consle setup now so I can stuff some major equipment in our hard to find space trucks. I think 4 10's or 12's should do ...ok, ok, maby just 2 REALLY good 12's and a quality amp. wonder if I can not go deaf with 2000 watts? JL subs mabye?
