I need an amp!

I'm about to buy this sub
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...2+-S15C2-.html

Problem is I don't know too much about subs and amps and all that,so my favor is for someone to please find me an amp that will work with that sub from that store and please try to keep the price under $250

If you're wanting to buy both at Sonic Electronix you can buy this amp and it should do fine:

That sub is 2ohm DVC. You can wire it 4ohm or 1ohm. Running an amp at a 1ohm load will put out loads more power than running the same amp at 4ohm. Just make sure the amp you select is capable of handling a 1ohm load. This will give you more bang for the buck. If you are going to stick with Sonic Electonix for both I would get the Kenwood that 08FX4 suggested.

that may be a little underpowered. there wont be any head room. that sub will eat the power, then ull clip that amp. thaats why i suggest more juice. imo hifonics amps are are still good. since they are balanced inputs, cleaner sound than the kenwood. imo... that sub will need the help to sound good, also i would see about a dual 4ohm if available. at one ohm ull be taxing the electrical on the truck. these are just my preferences as for the direction u are going, to each is own

A) Running at 1 ohm will also reduce sound quality due to the super low resistance.
B) There is no way that Kenwood amp puts out anywhere near 900 watts with only 60 amps of fusing. More like 600-700 tops.

Look into a high powered 2-channel amplifier. They often put out a lot of power at 4 ohm impedance. Something like this:

C) Why a Kicker 15?

I'd use this

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+ZX1500.1.html But you said under 250, so I'll do some searching for you.

You constantly say your going to buy this sub or that one, and every week it changes, until i see proof of the sub in your hands i will not help you. Just make up your damn mind and stop wasting our time.

I agree with both mSaLL and JJDH in that running at 1ohm will be harder on your electrical, and, will reduce sound quality. As far as the Kenwood amp goes I was only going by what info that sonic had. 900wrms at 2ohm and >900 wrms at 1ohm.

his electrical will be fine running an amp at 1 ohm with that low of power and i dont think hes going for sound quality...

I just wanted a big sub...I did have 2 12's in there, butttt that was taking up way too much room so I'm gonna put this one behind the drivers side.
