Speakers...are these

any good.

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1086812...tp=92&skipCS=Y

Comparing them to the Polk db571's they seem to be comparable.

I know that they are discontinued and probably replaced with a different model number.

A guy I know is selling a set NIB for basically name your price. I was going to give him 30 bucks if they are a nice set of speakers.

These are going in a 08 f150 SuperCab with aftermarket radio with no sub and stock rears.

Thanks guys,

T

Those are the same speakers I had in my '03 expedition. They're worth $30. I don't know how they'd compare to the Polks, but pricewise, it's no contest.

I personally hate Infinity speakers. They are way too harsh. But I'm also very picky about my sound.

But for 30 bucks and just looking for an improvement over stock...you might be pleased. Hell its 30 bucks, try them out and if you dont like you can probably easily resell for that 30 again and go for something else.

What do you mean they are too harsh?

I am not a trained ear and I want something that is clear, crisp and i can turn up without any distortion for now.

Since 48 people rated these speakers 4.5 stars out of 5. Go for it. You can't beat the price. At a later date if you want to go with something else you got your money's worth.

I am using Infinities in both doors - 682.7cf in the rear and 6810cs components in the front. I like them - much better than the crappy Sony 35w speakers I pulled from the doors.

Go for it!

What has happened to this place???? Hell, a year ago the infinitys wouldnt of even been talked about due to such bad responses on them. Things like Hertz, Dyn, Polk, etc. were the ones to be talked about. Now, this site is using Crutchfield's ratings as comparisons.... Wow.
