Question New subs

I currently have 2 jl 10 w1 in a downfire enclosure under the rear seat and I want to upgrade. I was thinking of getting 2 Rockford Fosgate P3SD212 because with another enclosure I think that they will fit under the rear seat.
So my questions are: will the change will be worth it? How much loud will I get from the upgrade? Suggestions and recommendations will be appreciated.

Sealed 10s to another pair of sealed 10s is NOT worth it.

I think he's talking about the shallow P3 12s.

Going from a 10 to a 12 of comparable drivers will usually be around a 3db gain, so you'd probably gain 6 db going from two 10s to two 12s. If you doubled the power that would be another 3 db also.

I have a feeling those 12s in a small box will sound boomy and a little muddy though. If loud is what you want, go for it. If you are looking for the best sound quality.. I'd probably keep the 10s.
