Elemental Design Sub?

Hey guys I was thinking about putting two of these elemental designs subs http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_...products_id=30 in this box. http://cgi.ebay.com/00-03-Ford-F-150...DLVI%26ps%3D54

Will this work properly? How are the elemental designs subs?

Will this amp work to power both subs? http://cgi.ebay.com/Lanzar-VCT2230-C...3%3A1|294%3A50

That foxacoustics box will not work for a 2003 truck. This one should work really well for you.

It has the ideal amount of airspace for those subs.

I installed one of those 11kv.2 drivers in my friend's car. For 90 bucks, you will not find a better subwoofer brand new w/ a factory warranty. Period. It is a fantastic woofer for the price.

Why not just order an ED Nine.1 amp with the subs, that way you can get package pricing and save some money.. It puts out a ton of clean power, the only drawback is that it's not very efficient.

I think I'll go with the supercrew sound box. I honestly know nothing techincal wise with subs. Which amp would be best for 2 11Kv.2 ED subs?

From your choices I would go with the
http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_...products_id=44
Showing the amp a 2 ohm load it will put out 900 wrms.
Option 2 here.
http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/wo...s.asp?Q=2&I=22
the power chart for that sub is

Thanks Fozzy. Would I be able to hook this up with my factory HU? What type of wiring do I need for this?

For the amp install kit I have heard people going with
http://www.knukonceptz.com/productMa...llation%20Kits
Out of these I would go with Kolossus Flex 0 Gauge Dual Amp Power Kit
Item #: KFX-PK20
This would give you the flexibility to add another amp down the road for a front soundstage.
To tie the amp to the factory HU you need a rca line converter. Something like this
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_142SLC4...4.html?tp=2001
Tie it in at the HU
Of course if you do all of this I would make sure to do the big 3 upgrade.
There are other brands out there and everyone has favorites. Just make sure you get quality products.

If you do go with the NINe.1 amp go with the package deal like MOford said. It will save you $79.50
I would go ahead and get some eDead sound deadening as well.
