15" + 2 8" subs??

BEFORE I START THIS THREAD PLEASE READ:
No opinions on quality/performance of any of my equipment is wanted, i like what i have and i'm not looking to get new things or coming on here to get bashed. That seems to be a big problem on this section on f150online.

I have a 15" kicker cvr.

would putting 2 8" cvr's under my seat be a bad idea or would it just add a bit more tone range to my system?

i've heard people say you shouldn't mix and match sizes, but never been told why.

Just looking for a little info, thanks guys.

if you plan on running them as midbass then sure, but then i would mount them into the doors, not under the seats

I'd look into actual 8" drivers made for mid bass. I know JL Audio makes an 8" that is for midbass and it is shallow mount so you can fit it in a door.

You will need a solid processor to run the dedicated midbass with a component set or with other midrange drivers/tweeters plus that big sub.

what's a solid processor?

lol my hood actually flew off of my truck yesterday (terrible manufacturing defect) while driving and destroyed the drivers side of my car, so im probably not going to be doing any audio mods any more.

thanks for all the info though guys.
