What would you run?

1 DD1010 used for $90
or
4 Sundown E8 BNIB for 255 total?

The amp powering them would be 700w stable at 4 ohm.

What do you think would sound better?

I'm building a new enclosure and was wondering what would be better suited for my truck.

 

is it going to be ported or sealed? and what are your goals?

in my opinion i would go with the sundown E8s

 

Oh yeah, whichever way I went, they would be ported. I would build to the max space under the rear seat.

 

If you go with the Sundown E8's, you may have to get a seat lift to go ported. I don't think that 2.4 cubic feet will fit under the seat. But it sure would sound sweet.
