Question sound deadner inside box??

ok so i just got off the phone with the tech guys at jl audio. we were on the phone for a little over an hour. they said that they do not recomend the TW5 for a ported box. so there goes that idea. n i know that sealed enclosures sound better with the less vibration. so would putting sound deadner do any thing to the sound? has any one done this?

Sealed sounds better with less vibration? More like less leakage.

Yes I did it in my center console build, I like the way it sounds and several other guys on DIYMA recommend doing it as well. Anything that will help cut down vibrations and back waves is good in my book.

If you can afford one, an O-scope.

Yes, its nice because it will help change the Resonant Frequency of the box. But the box will be too small for there to end up being a standing back wave in the box.
