Let me know how they sound. Never tried shallow mounts.. 1 sub or 2? If 2 look for something that give you at least 1000x1 RMS watts @ 2 ohm. If 1 then look for that wattage at 1 ohm or 4ohm. There are different ways to wire subs to keep that in mind when selecting your amp. Also the amp probably wont say 1000x1 unless its a monoblock but you could tell in the specs of the amp how many channels and bridged power.. Thats just a number I would look for. More will chime in Im sure. get good wire while your at it.

with two 2 ohm subs u need somethn stable at 2 ohm. gonna have to do coils in series and subs in parralel that way impedience is 2 ohms, if one sub its a little less complicated . all u need is an amp that will run 500 watts rms at two ohms, class d mono is the way to go................, jl, alpine, kenwood

Everyone knows the search button is broken! Everything just depends on your budget. you get cleaners watts (generally) with the more expensive brands , not always mainstream brands, but you can also find nice amp on the cheap. If you dont mind used. CarAudio.com . Good source of info. Just make sure to get your amp to match your subs. Or if get amp first vice versa.
