Good morning all. For my first post, I need info on the MTX Thunderform. I tried searching but did not find anything, so I apologize if this has been asked ad nauseam. But here is the situation.

I have a 2008 FX4 Screw without the factory sub and I want to add a sub. Not looking for competition grade or anything, but would like some bump. I saw the Thunderform and thought this might fit the bill. Does anyone have any experience with this prefab sub? If not, or if not keen on it, what would be a good setup with a budget of $500?

Educate me and I'll talk to a local shop today. Thanks in advance for the help.

I've never been a fan of MTX....you can buy the Thunderform box without the MTX sub and swap it out with a better 12". I'd go with the new JL 12W0v2...I've heard nothing but good things about them.
