i got a Sony Xplod XM-1S amplifier, 290 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms). now im thinking bout getting 2- Kicker CompVT 07CVT122, shallow mount. now would these subs work good with that amp on 2 ohms or 4 ohms? i want to stick with that amp because its so compact.

 

whatever woofers u get, buy 4 ohm. when 2 are on a mono amp, the impedience becomes 2 ohms

 

alrighty then, so i guess il just get the kickers in a 4 ohm then...
