Audio Gurus..

So as some of you may know i have two 12W6v2, looking to build somthing kind of different with allot more SPL! Does anyone think a single 12" Fi BL ported would have more SPL/ get lower then two 12W6's sealed?

No and no. 1 12 ported will have similar output to 2 12s sealed, but the sealed box will play lower. The only way to really get louder than what you got is to remove the seats or to get Xtrem.

More RMS doesn't mean more boom. Spending that much money on new subs to get little or no difference is pointless. I've always told you, do something extreme or don't do anything.

Port your W6's. That will give plenty of output and still be clean doing so. I would tune to low 30's to retain your SQ.

Back to Marc's suggestion in that case.

Get creative with things.

I had to 10W6v2's slot ported enclosure designed by a guy at JL specifically to fit in my PT and that was the best sounding setup I have had. I don't recall what it was tuned to as I built it some 3 or four years ago. The only sub system that I think sounded better was my brother in laws 4 OZ Audio 250H's set up IB in his 92 Thunderbird SC.

Get Diamond D6's you will not regret it a day in your life. Or D9's. Trust me daniel these are the subs you have been looking for since day one.
