I've always heard good things about their subwoofers, but never much on their amps.

Memphis is top-of-the-line.

Really good subs and amps- MOJO series is amazing.

There subs are better than there amps are. I think they are far from top f the line though.
Sub wise its way better than the audiobahm (sp) and fleamarket subs like that. But I wouldnt put it at the top. I think there a hair better than mtx subs! That seems fair.

As for amps, they are known for there small form factor styles. They make small amps that pack a punch with a relatively low distortion. There solid amps for basic setups but if your focusing on sq i would look elsewhere.

A lot of local shops seem to sell them but I've never used them. I wouldn't say top of line either but they're supposed to be good.

I know their old Studio Series stuff is still thought of highly, not sure what the opinion is on the new stuff. I have 2 of their amps and two of the subs in my L. See my signature.....

well in '07 I bought subs for my truck and I was torn between Memphis and JL. They both sounded amazing but i went with the Memphis they sounded better to me. But everybody is a critic. I had to sell them, too big for the back seat and got tired of takeing out the box everytime i had friends and family in the truck. But I am going to get another set One Day.

Memphis does have SOME nice products, its not top-of-the line but is good for the entry and low-mid level lines.

Ended up with Pioneer TS-D6802R's in doors and an 8 1/2 in. Bazooka under the rear seat. Huge improvement, even with the stock head unit.
