When you say "best system", i assume you mean "the loudest most slaptastic bass ever." But to most, a true quality sound system is one that can best reproduce the music as it was originally recorded, not who can shake/rattle their license plate to a more annoying level than someone else.
But if you do want to build a true SPL system, i suggest you do some serious research first...it will take a lot of time and money, and proper installation is critical.
LOL this one had me rolling. Kicker/Memphis = top of the line? News to me.
And give those POS subs a real 1800 watts each and enjoy the fireworks.

i am truly at a loss for words here. lemme guess, your idea of adding that 10 to the mix was to get a "faster" response to help the 12's wasnt it?
that really explains your attitude about this. i would put my money on it that coobies BTL will whoop the crap out of your 4 12's or 15's or whatever the hell you are trying to squeeze into the back seat of your truck. you do know that the world record is held by a single 18 right? its not all about cone area, especially if you are constricting the subs.
what amp are you planning on running and what does your electrical look like?
i would HIGHLY recommend you scrap this idea of yours and look into some high quality subs (such as Fi, DD, Incriminator....there is plenty of stuff out there) and use the space you have to put a couple 15's (or even 18's) in a large box and a gigantic port
oh, and sound travels not because of the quality of woofer producing it, but because its sound....and thats what it does, it travels

I wasn't bragging about Insignia's lol, there is nothing to brag about. I was proving a point to the kid who thinks its impressive for 12's to bounce stuff around.
Regardless of holes being cut in the box, i thought it looked good and i liked seeing the reactions of black people that wanted to look at my backseat.

i stoped being a kid when i had my own and he grew up.at least i dont have mismatched speakers in the same enclosure so what do you think you know about a system you think others dont. well besides that you think you can have a 10 mixed in with 4 12's and its cool? and your kicker comps arent any better than what you had. and your not trying to say your **** is bad why did you call the thread more bump than you. apparently you think that mismatched inbreed set of subs you got in that one box is something to be proud of.
and fyi wiring and wattage and box isnt all there is to a system. your instalation has more to do with everything than the things you mentioned

First of all Mr. BBy special, 5 "mismatch, inbreed subs" arent going to help out. Maybe if they were 5 insignia's (which I have no problems with, done it before. Surprised me) but its not. Its 4 12's and a 10, this causes more issues than you understand. Come back and tell us how everything and everybody looks at your truck after your first theft and you gain a few years.
Id be real careful how people look at your truck.... And before you come trying to tell me that you have this badass top-of-the line Bulldog alarm to protect you. Alarms arent worth 2 chits other than to keep honest people out.
