Build me a system.

Hey, I need more than a little advice. I don't know anything about subs and amps and head units..so help me out. I've already decided on the Pioneer AVH P3100DVD for the headunit, but am lost when it comes to everything else.
I drive a 2005 Extended Cab with completely stock audio. I want something to fit under the back seat without having to remove the jack. It must not cost too much (about $400 total) and still sound okay...please give me some suggestions keeping in mind I'm new to all of this.

Thanks,
Will

Well alrighty then..what would you buy with $800? I'm not asking for the best quality sound, I basically just want more bump..also, will that head unit work with say, the MTX Thunderform made for my truck?

the way i went was i put money in my amps. i prefer jl, that is just my preference.
500/1;$400.00
audioenhance box 125.00
jl 2awg wire kit 150.00

premier shallow s1001s4 10" $200.00 a set
then kinetic 1800hc battery $250.00
300/4 jl 400.00
jl coax door speakers (i dont like these) 160.00 for all 4 i will change these soon
really though if u bought the kit, a box, 2 10"subs and a less expensive amp would be the best, u would be just under 800
the thunderform i have never heard,

My 10" sub, 400 watts, box, and wiring ran me about 330. You can save a lot of money by building your own box.

Search around on eBay. You can build a great system for under $400 if you are not looking for competition winning sound.

You might also check craigslist and ebay for a jl stealthbox I found mine for 300 bucks. sub and box....not too shabby

For a H/U I recommend a Pioneer p3100dvd 299 bucks.... cannot beat it.
