I just bought the pioneer avic-f700bt i was wondering if my stock speaker will blow out with this new head unit
here is the units power
Power Output:
Peak: 50 watts x 4 channels
RMS: 22 watts x 4 channels
i have the basic f150 speakers in a 06 xlt should i get new speakers or am i ok?

Youll be fine. Those speakers will never see anywhere close to 50 watts. Most HU's hardly put out rated RMS power....

300w+. I've tried it.

 

really i kinda find that hard to believe but that means 22 will be fine

 

Ive got my stocks amped with a 4 channel 200 wat amp and they play loud. Been that way for 2-3 years. Bout time to get some new ones.

stock speakers are rated for 25 watts. I'm looking at the back of one.
