I need new speakers in my 93. I just put in a JVC KD R600 head unit. I don't want to run an amp/subwoofer, just speakers. What do yall recommend? I would like to stay ~$150/$200.

 

call crutchfield its a audio store they have a website crutchfield.com great live help and they recommend really great pieces for you just call em tell em your head unit and your price range and everything and they will hook you up real good and ship in about 2 days regularly

 

^ yea i know about them thats where my HU came from. I've looked around at their stuff, but I was looking for what brands people on here reccomend?

 

ahh well thats a good idea also to get other peoples opinion about things like that your talking about $$$ that you dont wanna spend on something thats just straight up sucks ive got a set of infinity reference speakers in my 1990 and their nice but if i was you i would get a component system you will get better sound quality than just the upgrade of speakers it all depends what music you listen to
