advice on Hard Hitting 10's

Ok so Im about to purchase a new head unit for my truck thinkin about a in dash cd/dvd/nav player.. Any oppinions on any? And also Im going to build a customized stealth box for under my screw seats. Any advice on 10's that hit extremelyyy hard and that sound good at the same time?? I'm a JL fan but there always seems to be cheaper aftermarkets that people are just as pleased with.

i would recommend pioneer for the kinda head unit you want

i have the Pioneer AVH-P4000, but all the pioneer touch screens are good

well my budget kinda depends on how much it catches my eye :D haha. But they all seem the same. Not many people I know have a indash. but could you guys post some links to what ya'll reconmend? I listen to anything from hard hitting rap to country man, oldies, rock. everything but heavy screaming metal stuff.

That hits real hard but maybe it was the box or too close to the floor sounded like it was bottoming out.. I want something real solid I had a JL 12 W3v2 and I loved it but cant fit that anywhere in my truck..

These have kind of caught my eye lately, haven't heard much about them though...

I was there last month. I had JL w3's in my last truck. I wanted them in this one as well.

What I determined was that with a SuperCrewSounds box with the extra 5/8" of depth and ordering the older JL 10w3v2 model they will fit. The newer 10w3v3 are slightly taller and won't fit. I think I got my subs from SonixElectronics.

The catch is they are really close to the ground. I flipped up the seats and shoved blocks of wood under the box to give it a couple more inches of clearance. I like the sound better, so I just ordered a seat lift last night. We will see how it all works out when it gets here.

i have a ported ProBox that goes up my back two seats(supercrew) with a 10' kicker CVR and an alpine mrp-m500 amp. and that thing bumps! at first i thought it was crap but it takes like a week for the amp and sub to break in and then turn the amp up and its awesome. its hard to find a ProBox online but this place i got mine from charged me 199 for it.
