Hello,

I am currently in the market for a sub system and need some advice.

First let me say that I am on a pretty strict budget (~$400) and I'm not really interested in building my own box (my garage currently has my 55 chevy on jackstands with the front end torn apart and I'd probably screw it up anyways).

Second, I have an '05 XLT extended cab, and I am NOT interested in raising the seats or having any kind of center console or anything extravagant. Discrete as possible for me.

Third, I'm not looking for anything INSANE. I want good bass and I want to feel like my kick drum is in the back seat

Last, I am lazy and I would prefer some kind of all in one setup if possible.

That leads me to this setup on ebay. The components rate fairly well on sites like crutchfield. I know its not the best setup, but it fits the budget well. I've been told that the MTX kit below may not be quite as loud as the kicker but the clarity and low end range is slightly better.

Id head over to supercrewsounds and pick up one of their dual 8 boxes. (yes, 8's). Then snag 2 Arc 8's. Give the entire thing about 350-400RMS. Done.
