I'm in the process of installing new front door speakers in my 04' screw. Is it better to cut off the old harness or buy an adaptor? If I cut it do I not use the factory tweeter? Newbie needs help.

 

Never cut a harness......Your door speaker should either be a 3 way or a 2 way should have the tweeter built in the middle of the speaker for proper staging. Having the tweeter seperated from the factory midrange in the door was not proper staging to begin with on Ford's part.
