Sub location

Hey, I'm going to buy two 10" compvx kickers. I've got a 2004 Ford F150 FX4 Supercab. So I have a few questions..

If you need this info: 1 sub has 600 watts rms, the amp is 1500 watts.

1) What would be the best box to get the most bass out of these? I like to listen to mostly hip hop, and when the mood is right some country =).

2) What direction would be the best place to place these?

Thanks for the help.

the "best" box to get the most output would be a 4th order, but you're not gonna fit that without taking out your back seat.
how much space are you willing to sacrifice?

Downfacing under the rear seat is popular but I am not sure you will get those subs under there without a seat lift.

yeah they almost have 6" mounting depth so you would have to get a seat lift. LMI makes a good one. google it

check out supercrewsound.com The build the boxs and should have the liftsat worst you'll have to use the standard 3" lift. If you take a look, the website has some info about removing the magnet cover on the subs and you might be able to lose about a .25" of the mounting depth. If you can get to 5.75, you won't need the seat lift.
