Would it be worth it?

Right now I have a 10" P3 shallow in a .45 cuft box, running 300 watts@4 ohms. Basically I'm just wondering if it would be worth it to get another sub, wire my amp down to 2 ohms and give them each 200 watts? They're rated for 300 btw.

I'm thinking I'd be lucky to get 3-4 db from this. I'm not looking to bump, though. Mainly I just want better fill at lower volumes, and a little help hitting the lows better. You guys think the difference would be worth it?

I can get another driver for around $120..

bump... seriously, is two subs on 400 watts vs one on 300 watts going to be worth the money?

Anyone?

**** that setup entirely. Sell it, and get yourself some quality drivers. Single 10 ported, maybe 2 10s sealed. What kind of space do you have to work with?

I don't have the money to redo everything. I'm not as crazy about this stuff as some of you guys, right now it's pretty much good enough for me. I know it sucks compared to what everyone else has but I'm happy with it, for what it is.

When I save enough money up I'm eventually going to try to do two 8w7s forward firing with 1000 watts... but that's way later.
