I am looking at adding the audiophile sub. My head unit is "premium" on the window sticker, but it does not have the plug for the sub. I will buy the audiophile HU. The sub harness is there at the HU, it is taped to the main harness and plugged into a dummy plug; however I can not find it in the back. I did find the slit in the carpet and felt around the area, but nothing. I pulled the rear driver's side door plate at the bottom to see if I could where it comes off the main harness to the rear seat. The harness goes up into the rear panel and can't see much. If I look down the slot where seat belt is mounted a the top side, i can see a cannon plug not hooked to anything. Does anyone have any pictures of the connector that plugs into the amp/sub? It would save me a lot of time if it's not the right one. Thanks

 

Sorry I can't help with technical info, but I have a audiophile sub on my 06 scab that I'd like to sell. Nothing wrong with it...I just want to get rid of it and move the jack so I can use that space for a storage tray.

 

It's on the inside of the rear driver's side seat bracket. Up on the top ledge toward the back of the cab, it's held down with a plug. First you will feel a wire that is looped, but you can't pull on it because of that plug holding it down. Get a slotted screwdriver and pry that plug up to free that harness. Trust me it's there, especially if you know you have the other end tapped behind your radio. Any other Q's let me know. Al

 

06FXNorth--thanks for the help. I have read where you previously mentioned the plug was there. I checked all over that area and cannot feel or see the connector. The plug is at the HU, but can't seem to find it in the back. I have not pulled the seat to look, but I did pull the carpet back and don't see it on the ledge or anywhere near it. I am planning on going with the Saleen Fosgate now so it doesn't matter, but I would have liked to have found it and may still pull the seat to check just because it annoys the @#$% out of me that I can't find it.
