Ya, but it would cost too much to fix it and I might look into other avenues. Right now Im back to running an old RF RFX9400 with the copper chassis.

No, I do appreciate the ideas. After all its someone trying to help. The stores are still on liquidation. My guess is at the end of the month many stores will be wrapping up. But the day we started liquidations all installation services were done. And anyone with the PRS, knows the radio they have and wont let anyone near it. But, I would definately love the other!!!

but the only thing they had for your 880prs was a few mosfets and a couple of resistors so far.
i suppose its still to new of a product.
by any chance do you know the printed numbers on the pc board that is messed up?

Actually they dont even make the 880 anymore. They do make the 800, which is essentially an 880 except with a copper backplate.

does your manual tell you what kind of resistors they are. you may be able to figure what resistors they are if you can still see the colored bands.

They are pico resistors. And I tested the ones I pulled up 22K. Same as the manual. I just now have to fix some of the tracks in the board and wire in new resistors. I might have a friend of my mom's do it and give him 20-30$. He solders PC boards for Lockheed Martin on Satellites and the Shuttles.
