Decrease in bass?
it may not always cause issues but your lights will more than likely dim quite a bit
No problems YET.
You're pulling more amps than you were previously.
I know everyone has said they lost bass when adding an amp for there mids and highs. Could it be that the mids are now louder thus overpowering the subs. try turning down the gain on the mids amp and listen to the subs them.
Its not a power issue, im running 2 amps on a stock v6 powersystem. A 500d pushing 3 10's and a 200 pushing the stock door speakers. If his lights arent dimming when the subs hit. If it is, pull the fuse on the mids amp to turn the power off and see what happens. If you still dont have your bass, then you wired your subs amp with the wrong load thus not pushing enough power.

Also good solutions if it isn't the electrical system. A stock V6 powersystem will usually be the same on the same vehicle with a larger engine unless it's a W/T or HD. A cap is a decent idea, but I've never really had a lot of faith in them. A Batcap on the other hand is better than a regular cap. I was assuming he wired everything up properly again, but it could be as simple as mixing up the positive and negative on one of the subs.
Caps might not be worth it if you are running a power hungry system, there you are going to want batcaps and extra batteries. They work great for those running lower power systems to avoid light dimming and keeping constant even power to your componets.
Can you PM it to me...
well my bro just picked up a new battery, we are going to see if this helps, since we think is is dieing.
LOL, it happens either way. Sometimes your subs overpower you mids. Turn the radio up to a little higher then normal (jam mode) and set the gain on the 2 amps so it sounds good. Then turn the radio volume down.
Hey. Check your polarity ( your + and -) connections to your speakers and your amps. If you have any reversed you will cancel out. Example: If you have two speakers and you connect the positive and negitive correct on one and reverse the connections on the other you will cancel out the low end. The reason for this is because while one speaker is pushing out and the other will be pulling in. Mostly affecting the bass.
