'04 FX4 Door Speakers

Quick question for you guys. I just got my 2 Rockford Fos 10' T110D2 subs that I'll be pushing with an older Punch 1000 amp. What speakers would sound best in my front and rear doors? I wanna stick with Rockford but I wanted other opinions. What size are the factory speakers in my doors?

5x7 or 6x8 you can use coax or components up front and coax in the rear without any modification to the doors. if its just like the 07's dont think ford changed anything though it should be the same. well if its a crewcab you didnt say what you have though reg cab, ext, crew, or if you have an amplifier for them, stock aftermarket hu

go with 6.5's that's the best option for sound. Yes they will fit but you might need to cut your own mounting plates. I think most everyone here has done this. If I recall correctly you can use 5x7 adapter plate for a 6.5.

In the stock size there are only a couple of options, at least as far as were available in CA. I went with the Infinity's.

Infinity Reference 6822cf - these sound awesome!

When I bought mine there were Pioneer's, Kenwood's and the Infinity's and they were the best by far. I see now that there is a Boston Acoustic option. I would look at those as well.

Your stock speaker size is a 6x8.

Guess you're one of the few, if not only one ,on this forum that like infinity. I yanked mine out about 3 months after buying them and got some real speakers.

At the time I had a choice between them and Kenwood's and Pioneers...

Way better than stock and they don't distort, good enough.

Are they going to be amped? How much do you want to spend?
