A box question?

I have a 2004 Ford F150 Crew cab. I am looking for a sub box that will hold one 12" sub but I cannot seem to find one. I would like to run one of my rockford hx2's in the box. I have two of these subs and would be willing to get a box with two openings also. I really dont want to lift the back seat. Any help would be great. Thanks

I think you'll need a seat lift to get those under there. Although the .8 cf is nice to work with. I can't recall who built the box but it's "L" shaped and it sits on the rear seat and hangs over the edge and sits on the floor as well. You shouldn't need that much air space but you could modify it some to leave the seat free. That way if you have kids you can at least use the center of the seat for a car seat. Browse this forum it should be with in the last 3 pages or it may be in the main 04-08 forum.

Nothing!! But thanks. I really dont want to invest in new subs. I have had these
hx2 's for 5 years and I love them. The old rockford stuff is great.

Chances are likely you will have to get a seat lift, or different subwoofers. Being that deep of a sub, they may be too deep themselves to fit under the seat, let alone in a box.

haha yup im sure they are to big to even fit under the seat (without the box). I would also do something that rests in the center if anyone knows of a box

Alright thanks. My father was in the cabinet business and built my last box. It came out awesome. He even laminated it with wood grain formica to match the interior. But this box sits right behind the passenger seat and gets in the way. If I cant find one I will ask him to build another one. Thanks for the help.
