shallow mount question

Im thinking about doing either 2 kicker 10" shallow mounts or one kicker 12" shallow under the rear seat.
Can anyone vouch for the Kicker 07CVT12-4? It's a 12" 800W 4-Ohm Shallow-Mount Subwoofer. Does it sound any good? I wanna get a dual 12" groundshaker box, and seal off one of the holes and run one sub. Would this be a good idea?

They dont sound that great, although they do get loud. I just got rid of my 10.

Sorry I couldnt be more encouraging. I mean theyre one of the better shallows out for the price. But they have like only 2 frequencies they play at.

im gonna go with the two 10's. It says that they are 400W rms. What amp should i run with them? The guy at the audio store told me a Alpine M-500, but if its 500W peak wouldn't this be underpowering the subs? What would be a good one, and mono or 2-ch.? Any help is cool, thanks

I have 2 CVT 12's under my rear seat and yes, they will get loud. I have a kicker 750 running them.....HOWEVER, after having and playing them the past 6 months or so, there are way better speakers. They can sound great on some songs and lousy on others. I am looking into some TW5's for a replacement next spring

i've been looking at two cvt 12's run by a 600.1 kicker amp. from what it sounds like it might not be a good idea.

any other ideas

That must be an old Kicker amp. Because they havent made one in 4 years.

200ish per (I think, I got one at dealer cost for one of my custs, INSANE SUB!).
