Advice for upgrading sound in supercrew
I'm not going to bother with the rears, I'll just fade them up front. Also, I've already got 2 12" slim mount down firing Pioneers I'm mounting under the rear seat. I want to go with a set of Image Dynamics CTX65CS with a US Amps XT-800.2 amp and finally some Raammat to sound deaden the truck. Now, I can only do one of the three right now, and the rest will be in the coming months. Because of this, I'm thinking I'll probably get the biggest improvement through sound deadening first and then doing the speaker/amp upgrade together later on. This make sense?
If I'm sound deadening, how should I do the doors? One layer on each skin? Two layers on each skin? I'm looking to do the doors and floor first, back wall and then eventually firewall later on. About how many sq. ft. will it take to cover the doors the way they should be + 2 layers on the floor of my supercrew? I really want to cut out almost all outside noise + the sound of my magnaflows and kill the rattles, plus a boost in sound quality wouldn't hurt either.

At least 2 rolls of Raamat for all of that.
For the doors, do a layer on the inner skin and 2 layers on the outer skin, and also plugs up the huge holes in the outer skin with aluminum flashing. then cover the aluminum with 2 layers as well. This is what i did, made a huge difference.
That amp/speaker combo is the same as i have, and for the money its hard to beat.
