Smile jl audio TW5

does anyone have the JL audio tw5 the thin line subwoofer from JL. i want to know if they are worth the money that I am going to spend?? Any feed back would be awesome!

Sure dont, but have worked with them a bit before and love them. You can literally put them anywhere. (I was messin with a 13TW5.)

so then the $900+ would be woth it. i love JL i have one now but i want to get the box off my seat and get one under the rear seat. this was the best thing in my mind but really really expensive. i was told that they have the sound out put of a JL W6 is that true???

900?!?!? Thats not just for the driver is it? Please tell me thats including amp at the very least.

I would say its not quite W6 territory but very close.

Under the seat would be easy, you could prolly make the back wall as well. (I know of friends that mounted them on the back wall of a Explorer Sport Trac.

No that doesn't include an amp! They gave me a of $449.99 a driver that doesnt include shipping and handling. Also I can just imagine the amp am gonna have to buy. The max rating is 1,200 watts!

So youre going to need 1k at 1-2 ohms. Thats not too hard to find. But seriously, for 450-900 dollars, you could buy one heel of a sub. I mean its like friggin ridiculous the sub/subs/install quality you could get for that money.

JL is ridiculously overpriced. They do make quality stuff, but not worth the price. You are paying for the nametag.

Yeah but no warranty from JL. Buy it from a shop where you get manufacturers warranty.
