LOLz CA.com = a buncha silly noobz who can never be wrong.

DIYMA FTMFW!

And to the OP: one thing that WILL significantly help your numbers is sound deadening. Deaden the crap out of that vehicle. Less panel flex = higher dBs.

Yeah they were having a clearance deal, good grab! Put it everywhere...roof, door panels, rear hatch door, FLOOR!, rear panels...anywhere, and lots of it. The more the better when it comes to achieving max SPL.

yeah, my back door is like a heavy barn door. I am taking the plastic panel off this weekend and doing some work on it. I hope to have everything in this weekend, except for my other amp. Then when it gets here I can just wire it up. Working 7 days a week last couple weeks has made this project alot longer than I wanted it to.

updated the pics. still need to paint port, i got in hurry and went on and put it in. Got to cut panel to flush amps and hide all the wires. Definitely the loudest stereo I have had. Glad I went ahead and got the 18s, definitely worth it.
Local stereo shop has some kind of mic, didnt really blast them until broke in some more, but did a 147.1 on their meter. Dont know how accurate it is but should get it metered on termlab soon.

definitely going to have to put my cdt components up front also when i order another sax-100.4.

WOOT! Jagged carpeting and lack of wire routing FTW!

Might as well just help you with that CA.com comment.
