I was originally looking at that site for a sub box. I heard that some people had issues with air space.

OH really? I was thinking the same thing but not too smart when it comes to systems.lol. Im not looking for the hardest hitting system out there i just want something that when i want to blast my metal or rock music i am satisfied with the sound and how the system hits.

Which premiers? And which Xplod amp? Look at the bottom of the amp, should give you a model number. Same with the premiers, just look around the woofer. Will be able to help you better with that.

Those pioneer subs might be too deep.

I don't know about the premiers because they are mounted in little boxes right now. But my brother says they are the flat ones or something like that. The amps model number is XM-SD51X and on the front it says Class D if that helps at all. Sorry for the lack of information im kinda new to all this.

According to Sony's site that amp is 500 x 1 RMS @ 2 ohms and 250 x 1 RMS @ 4 ohms.

Do the subs look like these: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...low/TS-SW1041D

Should be fine. It seems to be a pretty good match for the subs you are powering.
