Hey all, Now im a total newbiew to sound systems and everything but i have an idea what i want. I wanna get 2, 12 inch subwoofers and an amp.

Can anyone give me and idea of a good setup i see theres things such as 4obhm and 2 obhm. Whats the difference between them?

too broad of a question regarding the good setup- whats your budget? what kinda music do you listen to? theres plenty more things i am leaving out, but the ohms really depends on if you are gettin DVC subs or not, and what your amp is stable at

 

we need a budget, how much room you are willing to sacrifice, and what your goals are; are you going for loudness or for sound quality?

 

Well i listen to rap and rock stuff like that and im looking for something that has a good bass to it but isnt over obnoxious just something that sounds good. Probably around the 500-600 dollar range as im gonna be asking for it for christmas. And i was gonna put the 2 subs under each back seat with the amp under the middle one.

 

What year, model and cab size?

 

2008 F-150 short bed, i wanted to keep them inside the cab and not put them in the bed
