shallow subs

i have an 07 supercab and recently bought a box off of supercrewsounds.com. i have been lookin around and think that i have pretty much narrowed it down to two different brand of subs, jl's 10'' 1v2 or the re audio 10'' re series. one of my friends also told me about another one which is the memphis 10'' sclass. i was just whondering if anyone has used or know someone that has used them and which one has the better sound. or if someone has another opinion on another sub.

JL's W1v2 series is not their shallow sub. The TW's are. But there's a $400 difference. I personally like the W1v2's. for the money they're hard to beat. I have never heard the RE's or the Memphis shallows. Have heard other Memphis, they're ok. Have never heard an RE period. No one carries them around here.

Just stay away from the E.Ds mine fell apart at 500 250 each in watts sent them back and all they did was add more glue to the dust caps and they blamed it on my box witch was .6 of air space for each sub dead on get the kickers SMs

Go to www.woofersect.com and check out the brand memphis. These are the best subs on the market and the cometition guys swear buy them. I purchased the 10 in 4 ohm dual voice coil and set it up for 2 ohms. I ran 300 watts rms to itand I could handle it so i tuned it down. I am only talking about one sub by the way. It is the S class sub. They are just a hair over 3 inches deep and sound like a M3 or mojo sub. It was like $159 but god it was worth it. Also if you want the best sound out of the sub get a memphis amp, a PR 1.500 and you will be loud as hell man. I put memphis 5x7 speakers all the way around in my doors and a set of memphis tweeters and my trucks sounds better and hits harder then and car or truck that is running 2 12"s or 2 10".

Ummm....
1) So why the ******* are they even making these higher end subs?
2) Thats just a bit subjective...
3) Yes. My 3 inch Sony XPlodes sound like 18 frickin MTX Jackhammers baby! My friends cant even ride in my truck cuz it hurts too much! My hearing is 10 percent of what it used to be but thats the price you pay for *******in power baby! Once I get my 4000 farad cap Ill be the loudest truck on the block!
Conclusion) Ive seen people glued to JLs c***. But this is definitely a first.

Dude everyone knows the Sony XPlodes are the loudest you can get. I mean ******* it even says 2000 watts on the dustcap - the W7 cant even take that much. With my XPlode 5000 watt amp and my cap I can break windows in cars next to mine.
