Sound System upgrade?

hi just bought new 08 f-150 ,styleside ,silver reg cab and need some advice.

Have you guys upgraded the truck's speakers and if you have can i get something under $300-$400 that is pretty good? I I just need some input on what is the best speakers out there and how to install it and all?

And if can is there a combo i can get a nice sound system with it too?

I'd like a my dealer or a custom shop to install it for me.

So is this possible? please links if you do have anything for me

thank you in advance

for <400 you arent gonna get the best speakers. maybe look at some Alpine Type S's and an Alpine F250 amp

absolute best replacement speakers for the F150 out there in my opinion.

now i am guessing you don't have the audiophile system, so if you put thoise speakers with the stock deck you may be a bit underwhelmed, i replaced my factory deck with a clarion DXZ585USB along with adding the factory sub and it was great upgrade.

coaxials are the best replacement?
doubt it
agreed, without a new deck, its not going to sound oodles better. if anything, i say get a new deck first, then do speakers/amp

Conmann, if you just want to upgrade to something that’s pretty good I would say your price range is good. I went cheap and put in these… yea they are basic but sound better than stock. I did end up replacing my head unit (Alpine cda9807 its an old one from my last truck) because even with these speakers the lack of quality sound coming from the factory head unit showed. I bought the stuff to install the head unit from a local shop for about 30 bucks and the wiring harnesses for the speakers came from Cructhfield with my speakers along with a step by step picture setup of how to do all of it. The labor the shop would have charred was $65 for the head unit and $60 for the speakers ($30 for each set) so for the $120 in labor you save you could put that into a better head or speakers. It took me less than an hr to do all of the work. I know all the hardcore sound guys would disagree but this setup sounds good to me and I’m not going to compete for trophies with this just back and forth to work.
