hello all. well i currently have alpine 6.5 type r components in the kickpods up front and all doors are stock speakers, mrv-f345 (75x4) alpine amp powering the components and the rear doors. my question is how can i make it louder and clearer? do i buy another component set (maybe different brand for the kick pods and move the type r's to the doors? and im for sure going to get a bigger amp im thinking of buying the mrv-f545 (100x4) and just run the rear of the hu? should i replace the rear speakers also maybe just coaxials? please help me make up my mind thanks.

 

Get new aftermarket speakers up front (type Rs if you want to match), run both those and the components in the kicks off the amp, run rear speakers off HU or just dont run them at all.

You could also put your tweeters in the A-pillars, raise the sound stage a little bit.

 

First, I want to see pics of these KP's.
Second run 12ga wire directly from the amp to the xover.
Third, bridge that amp and scrap the rear spks.

 

i have pics in my gallery of my system. i did bridge the amp and tried what you said with scrapping the rear but it didnt sound much louder than if i had the rear doors connected so i left it like that. i might just need the bigger amp. i just got back from homedepot bought me some mdf because my sound deading mat got here so im going to redo the amp rack and sound deaden the back wall and clean it up some more finaly. now i just need to buy me some 1/0 wire to do the big 3 cause i removed the cap and my lights are dimming again.
