I can't speak for this sub or any of their subs but I do have their S series (S85) 6x8's in my doors and they are wonderful. I can only image that this sub will sound great. If you looking to build some type of sound system show truck I wouldn't recommend it but if you want quality bass I would give it a try. I was going buy one of their subs but the dimensions just didnt add up with my box.

What you could do is buy if from Crutchfield and try it out and if you dont like it, you can send it back within 30days for a full refund.

my friend had two of these in his civic. they sounded terrific in my opinion. they have great sound quality and for most people (including me), 2 12's on 1000 watts is going to be plenty loud.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how loud were they?

thats hard to say because its a broad question. but for 2 12's on 450 each in a sealed box, maybe like a 7-8. try to find a place that has them and check em out.

Loudness and Clarity is almost impossible to detail. Because per install, it will sound DIFFERENT!

that is very true, but i was referring to the nature of the speaker. Do you know much about these woofers?

All you can detail about a speaker is whether it will like ported or sealed better. (and height, width, length.) Because all things change dependant on the application.
