AMAZING!!! I love it. It is way better then my 10w1v2's. It has loud bass if you want it, or it can be turned down just to ride around with your special someone. I like it because it still allowes me to have people in my back seat. With my w1's they would bottom out and so I had to leave my seat up and my box propped up. With this setup I lost one seat, but gained 2. lol. Its pretty loud now and it is still in break in period. So i cant wait to see what it will do when I get the amp turned up.

I've found having a sub on the passenger side in the rear is really hard on my right ear. All the pressure coming from that back corner. It's fine at low volumes but once you crank it up it's just annoying. Have you noticed this at all?

I agree F-d up, i used to have a ported box back in the corner and my right ear is screwed up now

That new JL w6 is a great sounding woofer, i've heard it. I still think there is better for the money though, JL is way overpriced.

Oh yeah, I feel ya. I think I am going to get little ear plugs and wear them if I want to crank it. I like hearing. Lol.

And JL is high, but IMHO well worth it. They are priced high for a reason.

I could get 3 BMs for the price of one W6, and the BMs would STOMP that thing. Both output and SQ by a mile.

SI mag, Fi Q, ID MAX to name a few others that cost less but will easily outperform it.

JL is priced high for the nametag.

And a civic with enough money could beat a ferrari, but at the end of the day you still drive a civic. And the other guy drives a ferrari.

How are BM's amps?

whoah doggy, did you just compare JL to a ferrari and Fi and Image Dynamice to a civic?!?
actully, i would say its more like the JL is a 4 cyl civic that has like 40 grand of name brand crap in and is fast, but will still get smoked by a v8 mustang for 30K total

Nice. The W6v2 is an amazing sounding woofer, Ive always liked though things.

Even thought about a pair of of them in the 10" flavor for my truck, but, a pair of new ones is more than I want to spend and they are hard to come by used.

One of the numerous experimental boxes I've built for my truck during my quest for bass had 2 10W6V2s in separate sealed chambers built to JL specs but I wasn't happy with them. They looked beautiful but when I look back I had them set up all wrong and really I should have just got 12's from the start. At the time I needed to be able to pull my box out once and a while so I could use the double seat and I had to compromise. I mounted a 1000/1 on a fixed shelf under the seat and the box straddled it with the subs firing up. A few bolts and disconnect the speaker wires and the box was out. Unfortunately the subs just didn't hit as hard as I had hoped. Firing them up probably wasn't right and maybe they were just too close to my ears?

What kind of analogy is that?

The BM is a subwoofer model, not an amplifier. No, Stereo Integrity does not make amplifiers.
