Hey guys,

I just recieved my Cadence 6.5" component Speakers and It looks like the hole on the front two doors for the speakers is way to small. Maybe like a half an inch on the top and the bottom. How did you guys install your components? Time for a dremel?

The hole in the door is for 5x8/6x9's, not 6.5" round.

 

Yea I know that. I bought adapters. I have seen a lot of people that have put 6.5s in our trucks but I havent seen any pics?!??! Anybody with pics?

 

Try 5x7 or 6x8's.

 

I made my adapters/baffles out of 3/4 inch MDF. Screwed that to the door and I didnt even have to cut out the 5x7 hole.
