All new system

just posted one in HU section, now looking for speakers
looking for 6.5 inch components for the fronts and 6.5 coax or 3 ways for the back
what do you guys think of the
Infinity Kappas or Reference
Polk MMC or DB.....?
maybe MB Quart or CDT
i really dont care about brand, but i am looking for a little more loudness than quality and around 50-75 watts rms
would really like to keep the fronts under $200 and the rears under $150

thanks

Type Rs and Phoenix Gold RSDs can all be had for less than 150 and should fit what you are looking for. Although the Alpines should really be getting more like 100 rms.

Ive also heard great things about the Cadence CWM6 comps, i may try them out since they are only like 75 bucks.

I hear the CDTs are good! But don't know if any of our Car Audio gurus here sells them or what they think of them!

Infinity+Devildog="Not a fan"...

MB Quart=Not what they used to be.

Polk=

Out of your choices of course.

I'll tell you what though. I just installed some type r 6.5" comps in the front stock locations and 6.5" coax's in the rear, and am pretty impressed. I had the previous type r's and wasnt impressed to say the least, but these have shocked me. All with only 70w rms. Looking to put 100 to them soon but need $...

Hope this helped some,

what do you think of the type s's?
are they basically the same but with less power handling?
they would match my power expectations a little better and be quite a bit cheaper

I've had the RSD's in for about 3 months now. I'm pushing 100w per side and they sound great.
