Fi BL sub help

Okay so i want to get 2 10" Fi Audio BLs fully loaded. They have a RMS of 1000w but ive heard that if you get them fully loaded then they will get up to 1350w. I told this to a guy at American Radio and he told me to go with a memphis amp that gives out 4000w at 1 ohm. This sounded like way too much for me. So he then suggested a memphis amp that puts out 1500w at 2 ohm. Can anyone tell me what kind of amp to get?

I sent you a PM. The BLs require a ported box, which wont work under the seat. Go with the SSDs.

If you get them each in dual 1 ohm coils, you could wire them to an amp with 1x1500 or so RMS @ 1ohm which would work out nicely.

okay what about the memphis MCD1000 or the MCD1500. The MCD1000 is rated at 1100w at 1 ohm and the MCD1500 is rated at 1500w at 2 ohm.
