i need a system

i have concluded that i need more bass in my 07 supercrew. i have a few questions though. im new to this whole sound entertainment thing in cars. im only 17 but very handy and i would like to save as much money as possible but make it sound bada$$. I want two subs under my rear seat but i have no clue what to get. i heard JL is good but thats top notch. i have no idea where to start and i think you guys making a list for me would point me in the right direction and like an estimate of how much it would cost and i would like to keep my factory head unit and door speakers for now.

thanks in advance, brian

Why be a douche and not tell others? This FORUM is a place for others to share ideas to help make the COMMUNITY stronger...

POST THE SITE.

well, i can relate man. im 19 and im working on my system right now. the question you need to ask yourself is not how loud you want it to be now, but how loud you WILL want it to be in 6 months. i started off with one 12 on 500 watts, but that wasnt enough. i went to two tens on 600 watts....still not enough. so now im gonna go overkill and throw in an orion h2

when i first got the 12 i liked it, but after about a month, i realized i wanted more. trust me, its worth it to put in a little more money than you thought you were going to, cause if you don't, you're gonna have a volume **** turned way up, a blown sub, and a crappy day.

POST THE SITE.
Take it easy dude/dudette. Sharing a website doesn't involve "sharing ideas" anyway so your point is invalid, but that's beside the point. Plus I thought posting a website was spam? Ok here it is:

millionbuy.com

To original poster: For an amp that you are only going to power subs on I would recommend the Phoenix Gold Mono-Amp on the site. Awesome power and quality for a great price. If your looking for something cheap for speakers I would recommend Scosche speakers. They make THE BEST wiring kits and are new to the speaker/sub market but they compete with Alpine Type R's easy. For subs the best bang for your buck is Infinity reference series. They hit harder than Alpine Type R's and will make exceptional mids and low's. The Scosche 6x9's in the back speakers will hit your high's.

If anyone wants some help just hit me up. 817-559-2113 (if you call just lemme know your from forums, my name is Rone - the "o" is pronounced like the letter, a long "o"- ).

Also I don't work for millionbuy its just an awesome site that I've been using for years (its better than crutchfield for sure). I also know someone that's in the business professionally so if you want a box I can hook you up cheaper than any website (I can get you a custom dual 10" sub box to put under ext cab or supercab rear seats for $125 shipping included).

Where in Jersey are you from? I'm 17 too and I'm about to start an audio install on my 2007 Screw. Maybe I can help you out a bit.
