Bass control management Help

Ok hears the deal I got a Jensen DD because it was a good deal on ebay any way the bass control on this HU well stinks when I adjust the HU eq to thin out the doors the sub bass cuts as well I was thinking of adding a SOUNDSTREAM BX-12 BASS BOOSTER CAR PROCESSOR EPICENTER or some kind of something to fix this dilemma I looked at a few eqs with sub outs but no sub in just main in I want to still use my sub out rca from the HU .

sweet. what are the specs on your whole system? (speakers, subs, amps, wiring?)

I have 2 element design 11Kv.2 Subwoofer, Jensen's VM9022 DVD receiver, 10 inch under back seat,Sony Slim Series XM-1S Mono class D and a Sony the Slim Series XM-4S 4 ch amp ,4 Pioneer TS-A6982R 6"x9" 4 way speakers in doors ,1 TS-A1682R 6-3/4 4 way for center Channel ,street wire install stuff and the new black box

they are the slim ones in a small box they do the job well and now they slam with the bass control my HU was killin them

Dude , why does it look like your amps are powered with 10 guage ? I would use 0- 2 guage for the main power wire to the battery . I would then use a fused distribution block where yours is , and run 4 guage to each amp .

Its with in range for 4 guage with a split to 8 guage the amps are very efficient on power I did the math

50 watts RMS x 4 channels at 4 ohms and 500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms whats not powerful about that. Why do you think I should step up to thicker wire?

weaksauce... 4ga distributed to 8ga is fine as long as its real copper wire and not that not cca crap

weaksauce... ???? its good wire they way I seen it was a 7 to 10 ft run pulling up to 120 amps is fine for 4 gu wire

4ga to 8ga should be fine considering it's a 700 watt system and the power run is only about 10-12 feet. If you notice dimming when the bass hits and you upgraded your "big 3/4" to 4ga, I would possibly recommend moving to 0/1ga for the "big 3/4" but you shouldn't need to.
