Best 6.5" Value Seperates

I currently have some type S 5x7s in my front doors and would really like to replace them with some 6.5" seperates to improve the high end clarity and mid-bass response. My sub does a great job but there is simply too much unfilled range between the highs and lows.

I plan to use some 6x8 to 6.5" adapter plates and throw some reasonably priced components up front, driven by around 75 watts.I've seen some of the 65cs Phoenix Gold's for a great price but am gun shy despite the decent reviews. Any suggestions one way or another? As always, any input is appreciated!

Push the "I believe" button (again after you push it for the pdx) then call it a day

Thanks guys. And Bartak, I'm wanting to spend less than $150 if at all possible. I'm only running a single RF P3SD210 sub and just want some punchier midbass and crisper highs. The midbass is why I'm wanting to go 6.5" instead of the stock 6x8 size. I'd love to drop $400 in some high quality seperates but for the system I have it just doesn't make sense. That's why I was hoping there was something decent in the $100-$150 range. From the sounds of the responses above those PG's may do the trick..

I appreciate it Styx. One final question....

JL VR600-CSi or The Phoenix RSd's?

The VR-600s seem like low end junk that JL slapped their name on to sell to folks (like me) too cheap to buy their good stuff, is that the case or are they decent?

I've almost ordered the RSds 10x but wanted to check this last thing. Thanks!
